Accommodation
in Barcelona City and Province
Your
options for Barcelona
Hotels are extremely broad - especially if you plan to go
out of the city into Barcelona Province.
You'll find accommodation of all kinds . . . luxury hotels, cheap
hostels and
bargain late rooms all form part of the Barcelona Accommodation offer.
Use the Search Box to find the best choice for Hotels in Barcelona.
Book your accommodation
in Barcelona and and enjoy a break in the vibrant
capital of Catalonia.
The accommodation
possibilities in Barcelona and the rest of Barcelona Province are
incredible- hotels
in the city centre, rooms
in the the coastal towns of Sitges or Mataró and hostels and pensions in Central
Catalonia around Vic and Montserrat.
Hotels in Barcelona
The most popular Barcelona hotels are inevitably near the city centre
round Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya and the Barrio Gotico.
However, many people
find excellent accommodation in the more select area of the Eixample, in Gracia near the Sagrada Familia or around Montjuic.
Accommodation near
the Port Olimpic is also increasingly popular and you can find FC
Barcelona hotels near Camp Nou.
Hotels in South of Barcelona
If you're looking for Barcelona hotels in the south of the province you
won't be disappointed.
There's a
good choice of hotels in El Prat near Barcelona Airport, which is in
easy reach of the coastal resorts of Sitges and Castelldefels.
You'll also find an excellent hotel
offer in the Wine and Cava region around Villafranca del Penedes and
Sant Sadurni d'Anoia.

Hotels in North of Barcelona
The first major town north
is Badalona - it has a beach but is almost a suburb of the capital and
is better served by Barcelona hotels.
Further north, the Costa del Maresme begins which has some great places
to stay because of its fantastic beaches and ports.
You'll find plenty of hotels in Mataró - the
largest town - but better places to stay are Vilassar or Arenys de Mar,
Caldes d'Estrac or Sant Pol.
Hotels Inland From Barcelona
Directly
inland from Barcelona you'll eventually come to Central Catalonia which
is dominated by Montserrat and the historic towns of Vic and Manresa.
Here you'll find a great choice of country hotels, pensions and hostels
and even a few state-run paradors along with luxury hotels at the
higher end of the market.
Other interesting places
to stay are Granollers or Sant Cugat in the Vallés, whose other major
towns - Sabadell and Terrassa - are a bit too industrial for my liking.
