It's difficult to get precise information on Córdoba CF - the club's homepage only gives a very brief history until 1985.
I know that the club was founded in 1954 and have spent 22 seasons in Segunda A, 20 seasons in Segunda B and 4 in Tercera. The club's best period was in
the sixties and early seventies, when they spent eight seasons in Primera.

They were promoted from Segunda B at the end of the 2008-07 season and managed to stay up last season.
