Santander-Parayas Airport Information

Santander-Parayas Airport (SDR) is operated by the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority, AENA - Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea - and is the main international airport serving the Santander and Cantabria.

The airport is situated about five kilometres east of Santander city centre.

Currently, Ryanair is the only low-cost airline operating at the airport with flights to London-Stansted, Dublin, Brussels, Milan, Rome, Hahn and Weeze, whilst Air Nostrum operates a wide variety of flights throughout Spain.

The airport has been extended and refurbished in the last couple of years, and in 2007 handled 761,783 passengers and 16,998 flights.

Santander Airport has 8 check-in desks, 2 baggage carousels and 5 boarding gates and hopes to attract more European airlines, both low-cost and regular in the future.
