Hércules CF are another of those clubs that I can't help but like - if only for the name!
They've spent most of their history in Segunda A but most decades have made an short-lived appearance in the Primera Liga.
Hércules' last moment of glory was in the 1995-96 season, when they managed to beat Barça twice and Real Madrid ended up
winning the title.

They're doing particularly well this season and are occupying a promotion positions, so 2009-10 could well see them back playing in top-flight football.
