Terminal 4 (T4) was opened in February 2006 and is the busiest terminal at Madrid Barajas. As you can see from the Madrid Airport Map, it has a Satellite Terminal (T4S). Be sure to allow time, if you expect to travel between T4 and T4S as they are about 2.5km apart and connected by underground railway.
Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and the distance between T1 and T2 - the busiest terminals - is easily walkable.
A return journey takes about 40 minutes and buses run every 5 minutes between 6.30am and 11.30pm, every 20 minutes between 11.30pm and 1.50am and every 40 minutes between 1.50am and 6.30am.
On the journey from T1 to T4, the Bus Tránsito stops at T1 Departures, T2 Departures and T4 Departures.
On the journey T4 to T1, the Bus Tránsito stops at T4 Arrivals, T3 Arrivals, T2 Arrivals, T1 DiqueSur Low Cost Parking and T1 Departures.
