Spain Shirts
The Red and Gold of 'La Roja'
|
Spain shirts are very much in fashion these days.
As you can probably guess, I've been supporting Spain for some years now - and it hasn't always been easy.
But since Euro 2008, everything has seemed a lot rosier - and the new 2009-10 shirt reflects that confidence.
|
 |
Not only did we win the Championship but we won by playing the best football - and that has earnt us a lot of friends amongst football fans around the world.
This is particularly good for me because as a British-born Barcelona fan, I can support La Roja with all my heart.
Liverpool's Fernando Torres, Pepe Reina, Sergio García, Xabi Alonso, Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas and Barcelona's flaming Carles Puyol, Gerard Piqué,
Xavi Hernández, Andrés Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Bojan Krkic plus Casillas, Villa, Silva, Sergio Rámos et al.
I'M IN HEAVEN! and I've already ordered a new 2009-10 shirt so I can show off to my mates down the bar!
This year's going to be great!
Spain Home Strip 2009-10
The 2009-10 Spain home shirt has just gone on sale and it's great.
It maintains the red and gold of the classic Spain shirt, but the new black flash down the right-hand side of the chest gives an air of a team that believes
in itself.
As a lover of traditional football badges, I'm very pleased that that the Spain logo remains unchanged and above the heart - where it should be - and the
subtle positioning of the Adidas logo in the centre also looks good.
This shirt is definitely going to be the talk of the town in the coming year.
Spain Away Strip
|
As the new Spain shirts are just about to be released, I'm sure I'll have to update this away kit section soon.
However, the picture shows the very classy Spain second shirt.
It's not quite as striking as the home sure but it's still a very nice garment - with the
badge, trimmings and logo.

It's unlikely to change radically between this and next season, so check out the kit page to see what's on offer.

Spain Retro Shirts
|
I really like the idea of having a Spain Retro Shirt.
There are three gorgeous Retro Spain shirts available - a beautiful Di Stéfano design from the late fifties and a late sixties/early seventies one - it's got a blue collar
and is almost crimson.
The design I've chosen for the picture is a 1950s design. I like it because of the buttons and the collar, and given its almost pink colour, it's the kind of garment
you could wear in almost any situation - whilst showing that you're a football connoisseur, at the same time.

If Spain continue their run of success, I'm sure more designs will become available.

Other Top-Notch Suppliers
I've included the banners below because
Subside Sports and
Kitbag are two more excellent suppliers of football kits and equipment to the international market.
Subside always have a good range of shirts from Spanish football teams and their Spain page includes scarves and tee shirts.
Whilst
Kitbag allow you to shop by brand, and as they represent Adidas
- Spain's manufacturer. They're a good place to check out for new merchandise and special offers.
