Retro La Liga ShirtsBeing a lover of the history of the game, I really love Retro Spanish football shirts, and I've found a great supplier of retro kit for most of the major Spanish clubs.They come in a variety of styles and trace the development of football fashion. Most of the older shirts are similar to the modern jerseys but ome clubs, such as Atlético de Madrid and Athletic Bilbao have even changed their colours – you can read more in the articles below. I particularly like the pre-Civil War retro shirts with button-up fronts and normal shirt collars and the 1960s and 1970s designs remind me of my youth. After their incredible success in the Euro 2008, Spain are definitely one of the world's most fashionable teams and are amongst the favourites for South Africa 2010. What's more with so many players in the Premiership, the Spanish have a particularly strong connection with British football. Fernando Torres and Cesc Fabregas, in particular, will come of age in the World Cup but there are also many players in the Liga who will leave there mark.
